Giddy-Up
Giddy-up is a medley of cowboy tunes (Bury me not on the Lone Prairie, Red River Valley, Buffalo Gals, and Sweet Betsy from Pike). SATB recorder is provides variety with each voice getting its fair share of the action.
In the 1600s French influence changed the name recorder to flute, and until the 1720s the word 'flute' referred to the recorder, but as the flute gained popularity it became necessary to distinguish them again.
