Earl Strafford - Pavan & Galliard by Thomas Tomkins is a delightful Renaissance work brought to us as transcribed by Andrew Kerr. All I did was to transpose to c clefs and utilize more modern rhythms. Frankly I am not sure it helps.

There are some wonderful hemiola rhythms in the Galliard. Chalenging to play by great to hear.
